About Me

gurtnoodlegirllogo

Hi! My name is Kitty McEwan and I am a 16 year old illustrator and arts organiser in Plymouth, UK.  I run Plymouth Zine Library and organise zine workshops, I am Creative Director for a group of young emerging artists, and I am SU Vice President for Pre-Degree at Plymouth College of Art.

My main interests as an organiser are in promoting local artists, supporting young artists, and encouraging as many people as possible to embrace DIY culture such as making zines and badges.

As an illustrator I work in multiple forms of media, including inks, gouache, watercolour and digital.  I create my own zines, greetings cards and badges, and have experience in flyer and poster design, pattern design, portraits, and picture book illustration.  You can find me on Instagram and Twitter and I am available for commissions.
